Background & Job Description
The ECOWAS Young Graduate Immersion Programme 2026 is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and professional employment. The initiative helps recent graduates gain relevant work experience within ECOWAS institutions, agencies, and resident representations. Participants will support program implementation, enhance regional integration, and strengthen mobility of skills in West Africa.
Duration: 12 months (January – December 2026)
Locations: ECOWAS institutions, agencies, and resident representations across West Africa
Tasks
- Participate in the operations of ECOWAS institutions and agencies.
- Support the implementation of major ECOWAS programs and initiatives.
- Engage in professional development workshops and training.
- Submit a final report summarizing activities and achievements at the end of the programme.
Qualifications (Education and Certification) ECOWAS Young Graduate Immersion Programme 2026
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree (or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
Experience
- Open to graduates aged 18–32 from ECOWAS member states.
- Strong interest in regional development, governance, and public service.
- Ability to work in a professional team environment across multiple countries.

- Number of Positions: 80 for 2026
