Background & Job Description
The UNDP is the leading UN organization working to combat poverty, inequality, and climate change. The UNDP office in Serbia focuses on four key areas: inclusive growth, strengthening governance, low-carbon development, and gender equality. This internship program aims to provide students and recent graduates with exposure to these development issues. By joining the roster, you’ll be considered for a variety of roles that align with organizational needs and project requirements throughout the year.
Tasks
- Assist with research and analysis for ongoing projects.
- Identify and translate national and international data sources.
- Provide administrative and logistical support for online trainings, workshops, and other events.
- Contribute to communication activities and external relations.
- Offer general support to the project or portfolio managers as needed.

Qualifications
Education and Certification
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate program (Master’s or higher) or the final academic year of a first university degree (Bachelor’s or equivalent).
- Have recently graduated with a university degree and be able to start the internship within one year of graduation.
- Be enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program.
Experience
- While no specific work experience is required, strong analytical, writing, and organizational skills are a must.
- Full computer literacy is essential.
- Experience in research, data analysis, and event coordination is a plus.
Additional Information
This is an open call, and inclusion in the roster does not guarantee a position. The internship duration is typically between six weeks and six months and can be full-time or part-time. Interns are responsible for their own medical insurance and all associated expenses, though a stipend may be provided to help cover basic daily costs if you are not financially supported by an institution or a program.
